A colored version of the engraving based on the sketch of Jean Chardin's travels to Yerevan (Irevan). Colored editions of Chardin’s travel engravings are rare. Printed in Amsterdam in 1686, it was hand-colored after being printed. In the lower left corner, key civilian and religious buildings and premises in Yerevan from the time of Chardin’s journey, are depicted.
