An excellent map of Asia by German-born, Amsterdam-based cartographer Peter Schenck.

Between the Black and Caspian Seas, the map prominently marks GEORGIE (Georgia), which fully covers the entire region, showing no division of the country into kingdoms and principalities.

Several regions and cities are clearly visible, including: GURIEL (Guria), BARATRALU (Samtskhe), IMERETE (Imereti), ODISH (Odishi), ABASSA (Abkhazia), CARDUEL (Kartli), and KACHETI (Kakheti). Additionally, towns such as Vartlo (Batumi), Fasso (Fazis), Anargia (Anaklia), Sauatopili (Sukhumi), Eschisumuni (Turkish name for Sukhumi), Cotatis (Kutaisi), and Teflis (Tbilisi) and others.

The map is believed to have been printed around 1700.
