A number of important cities and geographical regions are denoted between the Black and Caspian Seas. Georgia is commonly referred to by its well-known European name, 'Georgia.' However, on the map, we observe two different uses of it. In the western and southwestern regions, 'Georg Turc' signifies the area under Ottoman influence, while 'Georgia Persica' refers to the Persian Empire's influence in eastern Georgia
Those names can be read well: "Guril" (Guria), "Mingrel" (Migrelia), "Abcassi" (Aphkhazia), "Imiret" (Imereti), "Suani" (Svanetia), "Osseti" (Ossetia), and "Kaket" (Kakheti).
Among the inhabited areas, the following castles/cities are worth mentioning: "Cune Gunie" (Gonio), "Savatopoli" (Sokhumi), "Cotatis" (Kutaisi), "Scander" (Castle of Scandi), "Akalzique" (Akhaltsikhe), "Surham" (Surami), "Gorg" (Gori), "Tiflis"(Tbilisi) and others.
In addition to Georgia-related depictions, such toponyms are readable on the map as: "Armenia" (Armenia), "Ischmiazin" (Ejmiatsin), "Erivan" (Erevan), "Karasbag" (Karabakh), "Scirvan" (Shirvan), "Gandja". "(Ganja), "Schamachic" (Shemakh), "Bacu" (Baku) and many others.
